“That is what we are supposed to do when we are at our best -make it all up - but make it up so truly that later it will happen that way.”
-Hemingway
Born June 28th, 1981 in Palm Springs and raised on the Northern California coast, Adam first made his way on stage at 14 years old. Early teen years in his local repertory circuit helped Adam shape a solid foundation for stage work, while playing such roles as “Jem”, in To Kill a Mockingbird, exposed Adam to the richness of theater and its ability to communicate and effect an audience in a profound way.
At 16, Adam moved to Belgium where he lived with a French speaking family and immersed himself in the language. While there, he continued to develop theatrically, studying and participating in French theater. These early years in Europe sparked a love for language and cultural communication. This eventually inspired future moves to places like Granada, Spain, where he owned and operated a successful (and entirely unlicensed) walk-tour business, and Hokkaido, Japan, where he taught English and shoveled snow to stay warm during the epic six months of winter.
Adam settled in Los Angeles in early 2006, where he has been steadily building his career in film and theater. He is currently a member of the Unknown Theater company, where he’s played the role of “El Novio” in Lorca’s Blood Wedding, as well as “Inspector Pisani” in a 2008 production of Dario Fo’s Accidental Death of an Anarchist. He has studied Meisner with Robert Carneigie at Playhouse West, worked as a sushi chef in Santa Monica, shot a spot for Long John Silver’s, in an elevator, with an ornery parrot, and starred in a handful of SAG shorts, of which he’s very proud of.
Adam loves acting, but he’s not monogamous. In addition to pretending to be someone he’s not, you can find him floating in the ocean, running in the hills, writing, and saving up for international airfare.
Drop him a line, he’d love to hear from you. |
